" GRAND SLAM HALL OF FAME"
A Grand Slam consists of an 8 Ball on the Break (8OB), a 8 Ball Break & Run (8BR), a 9 Ball on the Break (9OS), and a 9 Ball Break and Run (9BR). This has to be done all in the same session. If its done all in one night and verified on both team's scoresheet, Then that player will be awarded more than just the Grand Slam Patch. Patches will not be awarded for the Grand Slams in between 1 & 5 or 5 & 10, but number 5 and 10 will bring something special.
Our first Grand Slam Winner got hers (Yeah thats right HERS) in early March (14 March).
Tisha Leslie
Second was on Sunday 14 Mar 2010 also, It was Chris Wilmeth.
**Chris Wilmeth I believe was the first person to get a second Grand Slam (I'll have to check it out and put in the date it happened.
Third was Jesse Ramos who beat me to a 8OB on Sunday 21 Mar 2010.
Fourth was done on Wed 24 Mar 2010 during Masters Play by Andy Wyatt. He also got a 8 Ball Mini-Slam enroute to getting his Grand Slam. **Andy Wyatt got his second one during Masters Div Play on 16 Feb 2011.
Fifth is me Ezra, I finally got an 8OB on Wed at Masters 7 March 2010. **I got a second Grand by making two 8OB's in the same match on Sunday 20 Mar 2011? What does that mean one per year????????? *** Nooooo it doesn't, On 30 Mar 2011, I got a 9OS during Masters play, which gave me my second of the session, but my third overall.
The most recent Grand Slams, and number six to join the GS Hall of Fame is James Mathews (8 Nov 2010) Not a Newby any more?.
